Canadian Lance Stroll has raced in F1 since 2017 and knows the Aston Martin project intimately — his family's backing helped build it. A strong wet-weather driver with a handful of podiums and a front-row start to his name, he is a steady points-scorer.
For 2026 his task is to support Aston Martin's leap forward, banking results and helping develop a car built around new-era Honda power and Adrian Newey's aerodynamics. A competitive package would give Stroll his best platform yet.
